BestPark Mänttä-Vilppula is designed with motorhome travelers in mind: well-equipped pitches, smooth electricity and water supply, and an easy-to-use reservation system make your stay effortless. We now also offer tent camping, bookable through the same system as vehicle spots.

Hyvinkää / Best Caravan introduction

The BestPoint service point is a cabinet containing separate sections for fresh water, greywater, and toilet waste disposal. A BestPoint service appointment is booked and paid for through the BestPark reservation system online or via mobile. The doors open with a code provided to you via text message and email after payment for the appointment has been made.

Tornio Toranda – closed for the winter introduction

CLOSED FOR SUMMER 2025 – REOPENING IN SPRING 2026

The new 30-seat BestPark Toranda is located in Hellälä, Tornio, right on the border between Finland and Sweden in the beautiful surroundings along the Tornio River. At Toranda, you can sleep peacefully, away from the city center yet close to services and the town.

Spend sunny days at Toranda’s beach and enjoy evenings in the grill shelter. Toranda’s harbor also enables maritime connections and water travel. For camping area guests, there are also outdoor summer games available. A grill hut, summer kitchen, campfire site, and sauna are at your disposal. If the doors to the summer kitchen are closed, please contact the on-site restaurant.

Enjoy delicious food or a tasty drink on the fantastic terrace or cozy indoor spaces of Toranda Magasin beach restaurant. A diverse lunch is served on weekdays from 10:30 AM to 2:00 PM. Additionally, evening menu items are available from 2:00 PM onwards. Check the current opening hours for the kitchen and restaurant at www.toranda.fi.

The cities of Tornio and Haparanda are within cycling distance, about 6 km away, and the nearest grocery store, K-Market Kirsikka, is about 2 km away. Furthermore, there are nature trails and other points of interest nearby. Kokkokangas Frisbee Golf Course is located 3 km away from the area.

Merimasku introduction

BestPark Merimasku is located in the archipelago of Naantali along the Ring Road, about 10 kilometers from Naantali. Merimasku is an archipelago municipality with 94 islands in its area. BestPark Merimasku is situated by the sea and features amenities such as a BestPoint service module and electricity. Nearby, you will find the Rantamakasiini’s toilet and shower facilities, which are available to customers during the Rantamakasiini’s opening hours in the summer. In the summer, you can access the restroom facilities at night through the back door of the restaurant building (code 7407)

At the Rantamakasiini restaurant in Merimasku, you can enjoy delicious food and local delicacies from the archipelago. The restaurant also offers a wide selection of beverages, including products from microbreweries. The sauna at Rantamakasiini is available for park customers during its opening hours.

Adjacent to the park is the wooden church of Merimasku, which was built in 1726 and is the sixth oldest wooden church in use in Finland. For those interested in history, Villivuori in Merimasku offers sights to see. Villivuori features ancient burial ruins and rock formations called “hiidenkiukaita.” Exploring Villivuori is convenient along a guided nature trail. Families with young children can spend the day at Moomin World, which is approximately 12 kilometers away from Merimasku.

Ylivieska introduction

It’s worth coming to BestPark Ylivieska, located between the borders of Central and Northern Ostrobothnia, even from a greater distance, as this three-plus-rated motorhome park can be accessed by road from every direction. From the east and west, you can travel along Highway 27, and from the north and south, along Route 86. BestPark motorhome park is located right by the popular Hamari beach.

With over 15,000 inhabitants, Ylivieska offers a wide range of cultural offerings: Ylivieska Cultural Center Akustiikka provides events and exhibitions throughout the year, the Experience House Artteri showcases high-quality theater programming, and the area’s numerous museums provide a good reason to visit. During the summer, the historical Helaala mill in the center is an excellent stopping place due to its beautiful surroundings along the beach path and its café. Throughout the year, Ylivieska offers diverse sports opportunities as well as several hiking trails, nature paths, and atmospheric campfire sites. At Huhmarkallio outdoor area, you can enjoy activities such as trail running, mountain biking, karting, and disc golf. In winter, you can try cross-country skiing or go sledding.

In the Ylivieska city center, about 2.5 kilometers from the motorhome park, there are many specialty stores and local shops, as well as several restaurants.

Kalajoki’s Hiekkasärkät sand dunes with their beaches are a half-hour drive away, and the neighboring municipality of Sievi also offers various sights and activities, such as the versatile activity options of Louekeskus ski resort. The nearest golf courses are located in Kalajoki and Nivala.

Paihola / Kontiolahti – closed for the winter introduction

BestPark Paihola is located by the beautiful natural area right on the banks of the Pielisjoki River in the municipality of Kontiolahti, about 20 kilometers from the center of Joensuu and 60 kilometers from Koli. Paihola is a former hospital area that has developed into a spectacular recreation area over the years.

At BestPark Paihola, you find a BestPoint service module, which is convenient for emptying chemical toilet and grey water, as well as refilling fresh water. In the park area there are also service facilities with toilets and showers.

The Paihola area has activities and attractions for everyone. There is a 18-hole frisbee golf course, which runs partly in the park and in the woods. There are also three nature trails of different length in the forests of Paihola that are suitable for all ages and conditions. There is also a large campfire site along the nature trail, which can also accommodate a larger group. In the summer, customers are also served by Kesäkahvila Kakkulaituri, which has been completely renovated for the summer of 2022. A landscape sauna can be reserved in the area, where it is possible to take a dip in the open air in winter. The sauna booking instructions can be found further down on this page.
